CINEMA EXOTICA​ Arabian Fantasy in Shanghai 

Our design concept is revolutionary in that our Cinema pushes for a new frontier in mixing culture and design. Cinema Exotica of Cinema City is a symbol of “East meets Arabia” in the most culturally diverse city in China – Shanghai – and located at the brand new VivoCity Shopping Mall managed by Mapletree of Singapore.
​The VIP Lounge (also known as HAREM) is inspired by Harems depicted in the paintings of Classical Masters like Jean-Auguste-Dominique Ingres and French Orientalist Painters like Adrien Henri Tanoux.

VIP LOUNGE

The VIP Lounge (HAREM) is particularly inspired by the exotic and sensual interpretations of Arabic or Turkish Paintings from Classical Masters like Jean-Auguste-Dominique Ingres and French Orientalist Painters like Adrien Henri Tanoux. Colourful, vibrant, hypnotic, the space is filled with sensuality and excitement.

CINEMA EXOTICA

Inspired by the mysteries and mythologies of the Arabian Culture, Cinema Exotica is a brand new way of looking at cultural traditions and designs from The Middle East where anything is possible, almost like a Mirage. It is an alternative as well as visionary interpretation for Arabia in the 21st Century.

GALLERY EXOTIQUE

A Powerful Experience like no other, the Gallery Exotique is lined with tiles in Arabian patterns of turquoise, emeralds and greens. The ceiling & floor swirl incessantly with reflectivity and marble like Liquid Lava. House numbers glowing in Arabic Calligraphy completes this stunning gallery for CINEMA EXOTICA.
